Lopa Misra, DO

Dr. Lopa Misra received her Osteopathic Medical Degree from Western University of Health Sciences in Pomona, California.  She completed her residency at the University of Arizona in Tucson, Arizona, and her fellowship in Acute Pain and Regional Anesthesia at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.  She is currently an Assistant Professor in the Department of Anesthesiology and Perioperative Medicine at Mayo Clinic in Scottsdale, Arizona.  Her areas of interest include Regional and Orthopedic Anesthesia as well as Simulation Education.  She is actively involved in both resident and medical student teaching including being a member of the Student Promotion and Academic Review Committee (SPARC) at the Mayo Medical School in Arizona.  

Additionally, as a career adviser and faculty at large, she is closely involved Mayo Medical School Arizona. Most recently she has been appointed to the Humanities in Medicine Committee for the Arizona Campus.  Her interests outside of medicine include spending time with her husband and children, as well as travelling, ballroom dancing, and reading for pleasure.
