Program Description
Brave Balance 3.0 is a NEW in 2025 12-week CME e-course led by Dr. Sasha Shillcutt. The course will give women physicians and other professionals strategies to identify their professional and personal goals, assess and identify causes specific to their workplace burnout, learn how to set healthy work-life boundaries, understand their specific stress response, and develop tools to help women negotiate and lead crucial conversations in their workplaces and communities.
The course includes online weekly small group coaching with Dr. Shillcutt, an accompanying study guide for attendees, small, doable assessment and worksheets that help you devise your specific goals and plan, and audio/videos you can listen to on the go. The entire class is designed for the busy, working woman physicians. It is NOT overwhelming, but stripped down information to give attendees what they need to change their life one week at a time. Attendees will be in a safe, private environment to coach through topics such as:
- When to know it’s time to quit vs. change roles
- How to ask for help and delegate in stressful environments
- How to draw firm lines and boundaries around work vs. home
- How to identify your specific stress triggers and respond appropriately
- What to do when you are lost, stuck, and feel completely hopeless in your job
- How to create daily time for yourself & prioritize your health
Students will be able to complete self-study homework each week, and small group live sessions at the conclusion of each week for review and Q/A. The curriculum is graduated and is released in weekly modules, so that physicians can work through the strategies each week and discuss in forums after each teaching in small, doable chunks.
