Dr. Adaira Landry

Adaira Landry, MD MEd is an Assistant Professor of Emergency Medicine at the Harvard Medical School and Brigham and Women’s Hospital. Dr. Landry speaks nationally on mentor-mentee relationships and strategies for career development. She is a healthcare contributor for Forbes. She has published in Academic outlets such as  Nature, Science, New England Journal of Medicine and for the general public audience in Vogue, Teen Vogue, Harvard Business Review and Fast Company. She is currently co-authoring a book for early-career professionals to navigate the workplace, MicroSkills: Small Actions, Big Impact with Harper Collins. 

Aimee L. Lowe

Aimee Lowe is the founder of Lowe Legal Group, PC LLO, a boutique law firm that provides legal services for executives and physicians, businesses, and entrepreneurs. She has worked with businesses, professionals, and physicians for years as executive advisor, general counsel, defender, and strategist. She represents professionals and physicians in complex contract and compensation negotiations and disputes. She is a frequent speaker and writer on well-being, business, legal, leadership, faith, and debt-reduction topics.

Dr. Ali Novitsky

Ali Novitsky, MD specializes in Life Coaching for fellow female physicians. She is a Certified Life and Weight Loss Coach, Board Certified Pediatrician, Board Certified Neonatologist, Blogger, International Speaker, and Host of the Podcast, “Life Coaching for Women Physicians.” Ali helps high performing women to achieve optimal health by optimizing their unique potential with simple strategies backed by science. Ali also offers CME coaching programs designed for women physicians.

Dr. Brooke Buckley

Brooke Buckley, M.D., FACS, is Chief Medical Officer of Henry Ford Wyandotte Hospital. She is responsible for the leadership of the hospital’s physicians. A native of Cleveland, Ohio, Dr. Buckley brings with her years of administrative experience with a focus on clinical integration, process improvement and quality care with a special concentration in professional development.

Holly Dowling

14x international award-winning speaker and author, Holly Dowling is the epitome of an authentic leader. The innate, inspirational, and action-focused leadership style Holly so naturally models is one of the reasons she has been a sought-after speaker, facilitator, and television contributor as well as a trusted adviser to the top Fortune 100 C-suite executives for the last 20 years. Holly supports individuals and teams to find the authentic leader within themselves. She teaches organizations, both big and small, how to turn head knowledge into heart action.

Dr. Jessie Mahoney

Dr. Jessie Mahoney is a wellness leader, physician coach, yoga and mindfulness teacher, and pediatrician. She is the founder of Pause & Presence, where she coaches women who are successful on the surface, yet struggling underneath. She leads CME yoga, coaching and culinary medicine retreats, teaches mindful yoga for healers on Zoom and YouTube, and co-hosts the Mindful Healers Podcast. Dr. Mahoney worked for more than 17 years as a Pediatrician, Site Chief of Pediatrics, and Chief of Physician Wellness at The Permanente Medical Group/Kaiser Permanente.

Dr. Kelly Wright

Dr. Kelly Wright is the Director of the Division of Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgery and an Associate Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles. Additionally, she runs the endometriosis center at Cedars-Sinai, combining bench research and high-volume surgical care to learn more about the disease. She is interested in promoting gender equity for female surgeons and teaching physicians how to leverage expenses to take meaningful vacations to prevent burnout.

Michelle Troseth

Michelle Troseth co-founded Missing Logic® to bring Polarity Intelligence—the “missing logic” in leadership—to leaders and organizations. Michelle is co-author of the book Polarity Intelligence: The Missing Logic in Leadership and co-host of The TRU Leader Podcast. Michelle Troseth is a nurse, a recognized global thought leader, the past president of the National Academies of Practice, and a fellow in the American Academy of Nursing. She frequently speaks at national and international leadership conferences on the topics of Polarity Intelligence, Work Life Balance, and Healthy Work Environments.

Dr. Sarah Richards

Dr. Sarah Richards is an Associate Professor in the Division of Hospital Medicine at the University of Nebraska Medical Center and the Senior Medical Director, Clinician Experience for Nebraska Medicine. In her health system-wide leadership role, she has responsibility for developing, coordinating, and implementing strategies to improve clinician wellbeing and enhance professional satisfaction. Clinically, Dr. Richards continues to practice as an academic hospitalist where she enjoys teaching about topics including communication skills, pain management, and wellbeing.

Dr. Sasha K. Shillcutt

Sasha K. Shillcutt, MD, MS, FASE is a tenured and endowed Professor and the Vice Chair of Strategy in the Department of Anesthesiology at the University of Nebraska Medical Center (UNMC). Sasha CEO & Founder of Brave Enough, a well-published researcher in cardiac anesthesiology and gender equity, author, and international speaker. Sasha’s greatest passion is empowering and encouraging others to achieve wellbeing in their professional and personal lives. She speaks frequently to executives and leaders on the topics of professional resilience and gender equity.

Dr. Sonal P. Haerter

Sonal P. Haerter, MD, is an internal medicine physician in the department of Internal Medicine at St. Joseph’s Hospital and Medical Center. She is board certified in Internal Medicine by the American Board of Internal Medicine. Dr. Haerter provides adult primary care services at the Internal Medicine Health Center. Her clinical interests include preventative medicine and women’s health. She is fluent in Hindi and Punjabi.

Dr. Stephanie Byerly

Dr. Stephanie Byerly is an academic anesthesiologist and Certified Life Coach who helps women physicians take back control of their lives. This means that they can get joy back in their personal and professional life, and they don’t have to leave medicine. She is a champion of gender equity, wellness, and mind-body medicine. Stephanie is a fierce advocate for wellness for physicians, and she has a special interest and training in working with women physicians.

Dr. Tracy Christopherson

Dr. Tracy Christopherson co-founded Missing Logic® to bring Polarity Intelligence—the “missing logic” in leadership—to leaders and organizations. Tracy co-authored the book Polarity Intelligence: The Missing Logic in Leadership and co-hosts of The TRU Leader Podcast. Dr. Tracy Christopherson is a respiratory therapist. Tracy has helped thousands of individuals and leaders apply Polarity Intelligence in their quest to create healthy, healing, collaborative work cultures and environments. Dr. Wendy M. Ledesma

Dr. Wendy Ledesma is a board certified Internal Medicine Hospitalist. She is currently the Medical Director for Hospital Medicine and Cardiac Rehabilitation and Chief Medial Patient Safety & Quality Officer. She continues growing wellness initiatives at her hospital for physicians and other providers to prevent burnout and promote high quality care. Dr. Wendy is a national speaker on topics of physician leadership, implementation of wellness initiatives and overcoming bad outcomes.

Dr. Alexia Gillen

Dr. Gillen is a board certified family medicine physician, Medical Information Officer/Physician Informaticist, Certified Life Coach and founder of RISE Coaching for Women Physicians. Dr. Gillen loves to coach women physicians to overcome burnout and re-discover their own needs and priorities as humans, to become leaders in their practice and organization, to coach toward habits and beliefs that allow busy women physicians to leave work at work and create time to live the life they design. Dr. Gillen is married to her long time best friend, is a mother of 2 teenagers and 2 furry dogs. She lives in the Black Hills of western SD and loves being outdoors. She enjoys exercise, reading, travel, and coffee!

Dr. Barbara Edelheit

Dr. Barbara Edelheit is Head of the Division of Rheumatology at Connecticut Children’s Medical Center in Hartford, Connecticut. She brings 20 years of clinical experience and is passionate about helping children and young adults with rheumatic disease. She believes strongly in the importance of balance and joy and focuses on activities in and outside of medicine to create this. She is passionate about her desire to help women colleagues achieve this same balance.

Dr. D’Anna Mullins

Dr. D’Anna Mullins is an academically-trained community hematologist/oncologist who has practice at a community hospital right outside of Columbus, OH, for the past 9 years. She lives there with her husband of 21 years, Randy, and 3 girls, ages 18, 13 and 10. She has been a proud member of the Brave Enough community since 2016!

Dr. Janet West

Janet West is a family physician, assistant professor, residency teaching faculty, hospital leader, and mother of three. She is also a military medical officer and flight surgeon and has been assigned to multiple operational units, including deployments to Iraq, Afghanistan, and the Horn of Africa. After completing certifications in physician wellbeing and leadership, her passion for physician wellness became more personal and emboldened after experiencing and recovering from her own mental health crisis.

Dr. Jennifer Hall

Dr. Jennifer Hall is a Geriatric Psychiatrist, Assistant Professor, and the Interim Vice Chair of Psychiatry at the University of Vermont Medical Center. She lives in Burlington, VT with her husband and two yorkiepoos and is an avid gardener.

Dr. Leigh Johnson

Dr. Leigh Johnson is a Family Physician in Johnson City, TN. She grew up in Bristol, VA, and attended Dartmouth College for her undergraduate education and Quillen College of Medicine for medical school. She also holds a Master's degree in Public Health from ETSU. She's an Army veteran, a staunch supporter of human rights, an avid exerciser, a self-proclaimed coffee addict, wife to Abraham and mom to Cole and Luke.

Dr. Marion Mull McCrary

Marion Mull McCrary MD FACP is a primary care internal medicine physician at Duke Signature Care. She is also a National Board-Certified Health and Wellness Coach. She is a coach and curriculum developer for the American Medical Women’s Association ELEVATE and EVOLVE leadership programs for female physicians and residents. She loves to coach female physicians who feel stuck or unhappy in their job – helping them get creative and intentional with even the smallest frustrating detail up to major career shifts. In doing so, she helps them start and excel in their own personal leadership journey.

Dr. Mary Rensel

Mary Rensel, MD is an Assistant Professor of Medicine at the Cleveland Clinic Lerner College of Medicine and Director of Pediatric Multiple Sclerosis and Wellness at the Mellen Center of the Cleveland Clinic. She has graduated from the Medical College of Ohio and completed her Neurology and Neuro-immunology fellowship training at the Cleveland Clinic. She is boarded in Neurology and Integrative Medicine and is a fellow of the American Academy of Neurology. Dr.Rensel’s work has focused on Adult and Pediatric Multiple Sclerosis, Brain health and Integrative Medicine. Her work in academic medicine often intersects with wellness, advocacy, innovation, coaching and strategic initiatives.

Dr. Wendy M. Ledesma
